Food & drink PR for Gourmet Picnics
Gourmet Picnics are chef-prepared picnics, made using the finest, freshly-sourced ingredients.
The picnics can be delivered anywhere in the UK, so we were asked to carry out a campaign for a national audience.
Strategy
Focussing on the quality of the Cornish ingredients, we produced a press release announcing the return of Gourmet Picnics for the summer season.
We approached food and drink journalists working for national newspapers and magazines, supplying great product photography and making samples available when necessary. We also set up interviews for regional food journalists.
Results
Journalists and editors loved the luxury approach of Gourmet Picnics.
In the national media there was coverage in The Sunday Times's Style magazine and The Lady. The Sunday Telegraph requested a picnic for a photoshoot in their summer wines feature.
Regionally, Cornwall Life and Western Morning News both ran extensive features making use of the great photography.
