A winning award entry for Polo on the Beach
In the wake of a hugely successful event, The Hotel & Extreme Academy asked us to investigate whether their hard work could be rewarded by entering the South West Tourism Excellence Awards 2009-10.
Telling the story
Having identified the "Tourism Event of the Year" category as the most suitable, we researched and wrote a comprehensive entry application.
We also prepared a dossier of supporting material, including a summary of press coverage, promotional material and photography to give judges a feel for the event.
Results
On the night, The Hotel & Extreme Academy won Silver for Polo on the Beach.
A press release announcing the win was distributed shortly after - providing more coverage for the client.
