Award entry for National Fish and Chip Awards
Having won the title of the South West’s best, Peckish Fish and Chips were pitched against nine other regional winners in the final of the National Fish and Chip Awards 2011.
With a ten minute presentation to deliver and more experience of turbot than technology, Robert and Louise Peck asked us to help.

Research and production
After conducting thorough research on Peckish, the history of the award, and consulting previous winners, we wrote a script and designed and produced a bespoke, easy to use PowerPoint presentation.

Training
Having never presented before, nerves were a possible stumbling block. We made sure Robert and Louise were happy with the final version, before coaching them on presentation tips and delivery techniques.

Result
Robert and Louise then travelled up to London to present in a highly pressurised environment in front of 12 respected industry judges.
After delivering a confident presentation, the Pecks were delighted to be awarded second ‘plaice’, proudly collecting their award from food critic, Jay Rayner.

Coverage
On the back of the award win, Peckish have picked up high profile coverage from the BBC, The Independent and local media.
