The Heritage Bed Company is the retail outlet of Enchanted House Beds: the only factory in the world still using Victorian hand-casting methods to produce the finest traditional brass and iron beds. Working with original designs, the Heritage Bed Company offers a unique service producing each bed to individual requirements. The authentic cast knuckle fixings create a bed that will last lifetimes and will become an antique of the future. (See the factory tour for more details). Factory tour: casting the handmade bed frames using traditional techniques.
Factory tour: each bed is fettled for up to two hours to prepare all castings for painting.
Factory tour: many hours are spent assembling a brass bed by adding all the components to the frame.
Factory tour: finally the bed is thoroughly checked and packaged ready for delivery.
