Padstow chef gets social
Paul Ainsworth had recently changed the style of the cooking and price structure at his Padstow restaurant, and wanted to make sure these changes were reflected in his online presence.
He also knew he needed to be involved in social media but, like many, didn't know where to start or have the time to find out.

Research
After some thorough research, we put together a social media strategy for Paul.
We conducted an online audit of his brand on social media networks and restaurant review websites, taking into account the latest devices such as iPads, iPhones and BlackBerry mobiles.

Design
First, we set up and styled bespoke accounts for the restaurant on Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare. We then taught Paul and key staff how to use them through bespoke training sessions.
Conducting a thorough audit of the top 20 recommendation and listing portals, we made sure the restaurant's details were correctly listed and the business was presented in a professional and consistent manner.

Results
Paul is now a regular, and more importantly, popular user of Twitter. His Facebook page is updated regularly and has a growing number of fans.
Paul now owns the most positively reviewed restaurant in Cornwall. Crucially for Paul and his customers, our work has allowed him to focus his attention on his business: serving beautiful food.

Client comment
Says Paul: "Working with Barefoot Media has to be one of the smartest decisions I made in how to push my business forward and really give it a 21st century presence.
"Jim and Sam are so down to earth and nothing is a problem. Decisions and work moves very fast with these guys, I can’t recommend them highly enough."
