Brief
The Olde House wanted to raise awareness of the late deals and special offers they were offering for farmstay holidays at their 30 self catering cottages in Chapel Amble.
Strategy
There are over 100 lambs born at The Olde House every year across two lambing seasons in Spring and Winter.
Families on holiday at The Olde House can experience lambing live, so we tied in the two seasons with the late deals available and pitched to journalists in the family holiday market.
Implementation
We arranged press trips with journalists from national newspapers and magazines as well as features in the local media.
We also carried out a reactive PR campaign after a set of quadruplet lambs were born and pitched a photo led story to national and local media.
Results
The quadruplet of lambs were featured on ITV West Country and BBC Spotlight while an image of the lambs was featured in the London Metro. The Olde House was also listed in the Go For It section in The Sunday Times Travel.
Bookings at The Olde House have increased compared with the same period last year, with more families booking their holidays earlier.
