Brief
Self catering accommodation The Olde House in Chapel Amble wanted to update their records which they had collected over 30 years of offering family holidays and convert their customers contact details from home address to email address.
Strategy
Working with a design agency we sent out postcards with a competition to win a family holiday at The Olde House, in which an email address was required to enter.
We also sent out an email version of the competition details to their existing email database.
Design
Working with a design agency we created an email marketing template which matched The Olde House’s branding and website.
We also ensured that the email design and functionality was optimised for veiwing on mobile devices.
Delivery
We created the email and postcard content, which were distributed at planned times.
We then monitored the feedback while the entries were automatically added to the email system.
Results
The competition received over 1900 entries and provided The Olde House with an updated email database, allowing them to keep their customers updated on The Olde House news and latest offers.
The campaign generated an 80% increase in subscribers to The Olde House newsletter and website visits are up by 50%.
