Brief
Grumpies of Cornwall wanted to raise awareness of their company after launching in early 2011 and create a presence in the Cornwall food and drink scene with the aim of increasing sales of their range of pies.

Strategy
We developed a social media strategy based around a tone of voice in keeping with the branding. We also created profiles on Twitter and Facebook platforms and provided training on how to use them.
We then developed a sample led strategy and distributed to key media along with a press back and media release. Further to this, we organised for Grumpies to appear at food festivals.

Implementation
As the festive season approached, Grumpies created two festive pies which we promoted through traditional PR methods as well as digital.
We arranged a media tour of Cornwall exactly one month before Christmas to promote their seasonal pies. We also produced a video of the day which we uploaded to YouTube.

Results
Grumpies are one of the most talked about Cornish food producers of 2011.
They have been featured on all three major Cornish radio stations, blanket newspaper coverage across the county, online and magazines.
Grumpies have a growing social media presence which only looks set to increase in 2012. All sales targets have been reached and exceeded.
